Duplexing is the practice of piping dual housings and elements in parallel.
Why should you duplex?
A benefit to piping housings and elements in parallel is that it helps to easily alternate the process flow between the housings for continuous process operation during the maintenance and reduced down time. Pairing this practice with micro-filtration allows for the filtration elements to be serviced or replaced without shutting down production.
