TefTEC V (Validated) Series PTFE Membrane Filter Cartridges
TefTEC™ V filter cartridges are high-performance PTFE membrane filters designed for demanding industrial and sanitary filtration applications involving aggressive chemicals, gases, solvents, and vent filtration. Built with hydrophobic PTFE membrane media, the TefTEC product line offers excellent chemical compatibility, high flow rates, and reliable particle and microbial retention in challenging environments.
The TefTEC family includes three distinct options—Standard TefTEC, TefTEC V, and TefTEC P—allowing users to select the right level of validation, sterilizing capability, and manufacturing controls for their process.
TefTEC V Filters (Validated / Economical Sterilizing-Grade)
The TefTEC V series provides an economical sterilizing-grade PTFE membrane filter option for applications where microbial retention documentation is required, but the process is less critical than pharmaceutical-grade production.
Key characteristics:
- Absolute-rated PTFE membrane
- Documented sterilizing-grade performance
- Manufactured with validation and testing protocols
- Lower-cost alternative to pharma-grade sterilizing filters
- Suitable for processes requiring verified microbial retention
Best suited for:
- Food & beverage gas filtration
- Biotech support processes
- Fermentation venting
- Applications requiring sterilizing-grade documentation at lower cost
Choosing the Right TefTEC Filter
| Filter Type | Validation Level | Typical Use |
| Standard TefTEC | Industrial grade | Chemicals, solvents, gases, tank vents |
| TefTEC V | Economical sterilizing-grade | Processes requiring microbial retention documentation |
| TefTEC P | Pharmaceutical sterilizing-grade | Critical sterile filtration applications |
